Fresh off a devastating stoppage of Dan Miller at UFC 158, rising UFC Star Jordan Mein joins us to talk about his career and his life outside MMA. The interview is even more timely with the breaking announcement that Jordan will be replacing  Dan Hardy to fight Matt Brown at UFC on Fox 7: Henderson vs Melendez on April 20th in San Jose. Hardy was denied licence to fight after an irregular EKG in his medicals (not an injury as originally reported)

We were also joined by Patrick Guera and discussed recent MMA news. Enjoy.

It was a good time and we also got into Dana & Chael vs Vince McMahon, Transgender Fighter Fallon Fox, and Chael vs. Jon “Bones” Jones and of course, why I am the true champion of the TTTHS Belt and Jamie should stick to holding mitts and not trying to be funny.

It’s been three days since Nick Diaz lost to Carlos Condit for the interim UFC welterweight title. Three days of controversy, outrage and suffering…Well, for me it was suffering. I wanted Nick to win. I wanted Nick to fight Georges St. Pierre and to beat him. I wanted the fearless, scrappy kid from Stockton to overthrow the Canadian golden boy and bring some excitement and “fuck you” attitude back to MMA.

However, unlike most Nick Diaz fans, I couldn’t find solace in thinking that the loss was a “robbery” or that Condit just “ran away” the whole fight because both of those sentiments are ridiculous. I’m blessed and cursed with having the ability to see things from a lot of different angles and perspectives and not just the ones that fit into my desired reality. So, it’s not so easy for me to come to terms with certain things without that ability to just ignore certain facts. But after days of absorbing everything that I saw Saturday night as I sat in my awesome seats at Mandalay Bay like a pimp and all the different points of view that fans have shared via that beautiful yet diseased harlot I like to call “the internet”, I’ve got some things worked out. I suffer, struggle, and come up with answers and now share them with you so that you may be saved. Kinda like Jesus… okay, exactly like Jesus.

The motherfuckin’ experts are back to breakdown & predict upcoming UFC 158: St. Pierre vs. Diaz. For the second time, it’s all three of us… well for most of the show. You see, Dominique was late and Patrick and I had an interesting train wreck of a time waiting for him. We took a couple calls, both of which turned out to be trolls insulting us. Good times.

Veteran Women’s Bantamweight Fighter Julie Kedzie made a lot of fans with her wars in Strikeforce against Alexis Davis and Miesha Tate as well as her classic, historic fight with Gina Carano.

In our epic conversation with Julie we discussed her recent signing to the newly minted UFC Women’s Bantamweight division. But it wasn’t limited to shoptalk. Jules frankly spoke about her struggles being a female fighter in the early days, internet trolls and haters, the unfair criticism her coach Greg Jackson gets, what motivates her in MMA and in life, female fight promotion Invicta FC -where Julie is a commentator, the future of women’s MMA, general thoughts on life and MMA, and of course, the time she pooped her pants during a fight.

A great conversation with a veteran of the sport from a female perspective but certainly not limited to just fighting or being a woman. As always, we like to have conversations rather than interviews and Julie was a pleasure to chat with.  Enjoy!!
